This short story felt very underdeveloped to me. I never got to the point that I cared about any of the characters at all. At 20% in I was ready to quit and give a poor review. Then I realized I was the first Amazon.com reviewer so I tried to be more open-minded and made myself finish the book. Christine and Jonathan are the main characters. Their actions were frequently unbelievable and the dialogue and narrator descriptions seemed stilted and 2-dimensional. The story takes place in the space of 14 hours and in that time we are introduced to way too many characters. The characters felt contrived and more like caricatures than real people. By the end of 14 hours Christine and Jonathan have each independently decided they might be in love with the other. WHAT?! They hardly shared any moments, barely conversed. I get the whole, "It's love at first sight," idea of the book, but the whole thing felt ridiculous, scripted and unbelievable.Product details

Fourteen Hours edition by Sarah Blair Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Readers need to remember this is a "novella" so it's pretty short so no you don't have the time to really develope the characters but I felt like it was enough. Yes, everything happens pretty fast but it left doors open that I wanted more. So I'm hoping the author continues on with the stories possibilities.! Fun little read!
